Who we are
Counselling Northern Beaches is a counselling practice at Suite 8, 646 Pittwater Road, Brookvale. Tim Davey sees individuals, couples and families here, and sessions are also available online and by phone.
Tim is a Level 1 member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and is accredited in Healing Inner Conflict. He works from a person-centred, relational approach.

Rather than tackling everything at once, you start with a single moment that disturbed you and work outward from there.

Conflicting parts are treated as ways you have tried to protect yourself, not as faults to fix. That takes the shame out of it.

The aim isn’t simply to understand how a pattern developed or to manage its symptoms. It’s to show you how to recognise what is happening and repeatedly respond differently, creating meaningful and lasting change.

Our counselling is supervised by an experienced counselling supervisor, so your care is overseen.

Confidential
What you share is kept confidential, with limits: a counsellor must act if someone’s safety is at risk or the law requires it, and information can be shared with your written consent. In supervision, only initials or first names are used.
