What IS inner conflict?
In describing 'inner conflict', we can use the example, "I am angry with myself for acting in a certain way” (e.g. shouting at the kids).
How do we notice an inner conflict?
Notice when life has not gone to plan, according to at least one part of you, and that is disturbing to at least one part of you. There are probably many things involved in this disturbance, so with Healing Inner Conflict we begin by separating things out in order to work with them, starting with one moment in time.
How do we notice the disturbance?
Where in the body? Thoughts, feelings, actions?
We narrow the disturbance down from many moments in time to one moment in time. For example, "I am angry at myself for having shouted at the kids yesterday at 3.30pm".
How do we diagnose the inner conflict?
Find out everything about the symptoms, i.e.. the sentence in your head saying, "I am angry at myself for shouting at the kids yesterday at 3.30pm" or the tense facial expression or tensing up in body lanuage are all signals pointing to an underlying reality.
